MT Car Rental is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. We take the protection of your privacy seriously and handle your data with care.

For reservations or contact requests we process:

• First and last name
• Phone number and email address
• Driver's license data and ID (at vehicle pickup)
• Date of birth (age verification)
• Rental period, chosen vehicle and any remarks
• Payment details (processed via an external payment service)

We process your data exclusively for:

• Executing the rental agreement
• Communication about your reservation or question
• Handling payments, deposit and any fines
• Insurance, damage handling and legal obligations
• Compliance with statutory administrative obligations

We process your data on the basis of executing the rental agreement (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (e.g. tax) and — where relevant — your explicit consent.

Personal data is not kept longer than strictly necessary. Accounting data is retained for 7 years per fiscal retention obligation. Other customer data is removed at the latest 5 years after the last rental period, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

We only share data when necessary for:

• Insurance and damage handling
• Payment service (Stripe / bank transfer)
• Bookkeeper and accountant
• Authorities upon legal obligation

We never sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. Access to personal data is limited to team members who need it for their work.

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Have incorrect data corrected
• Have your data erased (right to be forgotten)
• Restrict processing or object
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw previously given consent

This website uses only functional cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the site (for example for the booking form state). We do not place tracking or marketing cookies without prior consent.
